Volunteers needed for Veterans Legacy Summit
Sarasota County is a special community with special volunteers. We have another opportunity to participate in a special event and activity sponsored by The Patterson Foundation (TPF). The Veterans Legacy Summit (VLS), a multi-faceted conference will be held from Nov. 13 to Nov. 16, free of charge.
All of the events on November 15th and 16th are a part of Veterans Legacy Summit which is a conference hosted by The Patterson Foundation,
The events will be held at: Patriot Plaza, Sarasota National Cemetery 9810 State Road 72 Sarasota.

Volunteers are needed at the Patriot Plaza, Sarasota National Cemetery on Clark Road on November 14, 15 and 16 for the Celebrate Service and Sacrifice and Legacy Zone with the West Point Band.

Jobs will include:
*Assist with set up in preparation for the celebration and clean up after the event. May include some heavy lifting.
*Usher pre/post/during ceremony.
*Legacy Zone – assist with set up and check in of LZ organizations, assist exhibitors/guests during, and clean up of LZ tent.
*Help with parking and traffic flow at Patriot Plaza and offsite at Suncoast Community Church. Must be able to stand for periods of time.
*Bus Ambassador – ride on chartered bus, provide narrative to guests and answers questions regarding The Patterson Foundation, Patriot Plaza, Legacy of Valor, Freedom Front and Center, and the Veterans Legacy Summit.
*Greeter to welcome attendees arriving at Patriot Plaza, hand out commemorative gift as guests depart and clean up post event.
*Hours vary and are flexible!
Training dates are scheduled to cover the above assignments. Must be able bodied and stand for long periods of time, have excellent customer service skills, at least 18 years of age, and assist with clean up after event.
