The 2015 Tour de Parks (TdP) will be held Sunday, March 22. The TdP features 15, 37 and 62-mile bicycle fun rides (not a race) with the three routes “visiting” forty-four City, County and State Parks. 

Rider support, rest stops with snacks, breakfast catered by First Watch Restaurant, a catered lunch, and a high quality sport-wicking shirt are all included in the $40 entry fee.  

The Tour is a community building event as bicyclists of all ages and from around the County, State and other states participate in the fun ride.  The Fun Ride highlights the present connectivity of Sarasota’s wondrous Parks.  

 

Connectivity between Parks by other than automobile will be an important consideration in the Sarasota County Parks Master Plan.  The Tour is a fundraising event for Legacy Trail improvements and extension.
