Keep Sarasota County Beautiful’s International Coastal Cleanup is Sept. 21

VOLUNTEER TODAY and HELP KEEP SARASOTA COUNTY BEAUTIFUL!

Dear Volunteers:

In 2012, more than 560,000 volunteers covered nearly 18,000 miles in 97 countries and collected 10 million pounds of trash during the International Coastal Cleanup.  Here at home in Sarasota County, 1,200 volunteers  contributed almost 3,000 hours of time to the cause and collected 7,600 pounds of trash in our community.  YOU can make a difference in the fight against litter!

Gather your friends, family, neighbors, community organizations, youth groups, sports teams, etc., or come as an individual and join us on Saturday, Sept. 21 between 8 a.m.-noon for Keep Sarasota County Beautiful’s International Coastal Cleanup.  More than 30 venues throughout the county are in need of volunteers.
