Keep Sarasota County Beautiful (KSCB) is seeking nominations for the 26th Annual Volunteer Awards Recognition Dinner to be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2014at The Circus Arts Conservatory – Sailor Circus Arena. This event provides an opportunity to recognize notable efforts throughout the county that promote environmental stewardship and innovation through education and action.

KSCB will be honoring volunteers throughout Sarasota County who promote the KSCB mission statement and help “educate the public and promote interest and participation in the overall improvement and beautification of the environment throughout Sarasota County.”

We encourage you to nominate litter prevention, cleanup, recycling or beautification projects and efforts completed by local community organizations, youth groups, businesses, schools, churches and individuals who have demonstrated their commitment to the environment throughout Sarasota County.

Nomination Guidelines Please include the following in your nomination packet: Completed nomination form. A written summary describing the project/program/individual efforts being nominated. (150 word minimum, not to exceed two pages, double-spaced, 12pt font) If the project was completed through the help of collaborating partners, please list these partners and describe how they contributed to the success of the project. Describe how this person, group or organization helps to fulfill the mission of Keep Sarasota County Beautiful. Photographs showing before and after shots of the project if possible.

Deadline: Nomination forms are due to the KSCB office by 5 p.m. on Friday, October 3, 2014.
