Friends of Carlton Reserve recently helped organize and fund a Cub Crawl, which is an obstacle course for 3 to 9 year olds with 15 stations at which kids mimic movements and habits of selected animal species like a snake slither, an alligator gauntlet, and a manatee meander.

Each child got to choose his favorite stuffed animal to take home and received a certificate of adoption. They could even pet an alligator with the assistance of an FWC officer (see photo). AmeriCorps helpers were involved. Here is a video of the event: https://youtu.be/rfz5LF2Jbfg
