Adaptive Rowers on way to Championships
The Sarasota Adaptive Rowing Program Trunk and Arms Double was recently selected at World Championship trials to represent the United States at the 2015 World Rowing Championships in Aiguebelette, France. EXCITEMENT IS BEGINNING TO BUILD
The Phillippi Farmhouse Market will re-open for its 6th season onWEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 7 at Phillippi Estate Park. Vendors are stocking up, potential vendors are inquiring how to join in and the park is readying the front field to welcome attendees.
This seasonal market will be open from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. everyWednesday from October through April. There will be local music, food trucks, more than 40 vendors, ample parking and a Welcome Tent staffed by FOSCP with a reputation for the friendliest, most helpful volunteers in Sarasota County.

Clean up and more in September
Saturday September 19 is set for the Keep Sarasota County Beautiful Coastal Cleanup. Click the image to get all the info.
The Cleanup is just one of many events, tours, walks and activities happening in September. National Public Lands Day is Sept. 26, 9 to noon at Woodmere Park. A park is being named for Nora Patterson, and there’s even a lunar eclipse — catch it at the Celery Fields! It’s all here.
